Hi all. Thanks for the help Craig. Ive got a real issue i haven't seen in any posts yet, so I'll try again here. I'm just sorting the g-lock standard upgrade to three-axis servo stabilization. (brushless is standing by pending BLD module) Heres the prob: the pc software (v1.04) is reading the module properly (seemingly). I'm running version 1.06. The The only axis i'm getting output on is the tilt. The input channel monitor shows good reaction to my transmitter inputs, but when I try to write the mode selection switch to start tuning, it just won't change. I tried re-binding. I am using a spectrum DX8 transmitter/ satellite and have the proper setting in the "options" dialog box I have "data out" option set to servo The "diagnostics" window shows all green, and the "rc input' has "spectrum" highlighted. btw, I'm also not getting any signal to the pan and roll servos- why is this making a monkey out of me? I've re-flashed the firmware to the module twice now as well. Is it possibly a corrupted FW download? I'm going to try again presently, but am looking to the elders for some guidance again. added: I am using the same dongle and usb cable that came with Radian- worked fine as such. Thoughts, anyone?? thanks in advance, Dave Attachments:

Hey Dave,
FYI, the 'OUT' indicator bar is the servo output from the G-Lock itself. If it is green, you should have a drive going out. If it is red then the output is 'Off'.
You problem is probably with the new 'Off unless Port#1' option : this was added for single/dual operator setups where the second operator is using the SBUS or PPM input (it used to be that he had to use the Spektrum input only).
Just to be clear :
If 'On with Spektrum' is set then the axis will only be active when using the Spektrum input If 'On with Port 1' is set then the axis will only be active when it is using the SBUS/PPM input.
The easiest way is to download the servo mount default config from the G-Lock firmware thread.
Do you have some text-wrapping in those option boxes ? .. I'll do something about that.
Let me know if it fixes the issue.
JohnC.

Hi John. I was hoping this thread would catch your eye. Thanks for the help. Upon loading in the config files, I do have output to all axis. Thanks for that.
The main problem is I'm not able to write my tx channels to the G lock software for some reason. To bring you up to speed, the tx is a Spectrum DX8. I'm using the satellite rx into the radian module. It is bound properly, as I can read the channels being received on the input monitor window. But when I try to write the mode to my channel 6 3-way, writes and restarts have no effect. Other parameters are reading/writing properly, mostly. For example, a trim setting change to the tilt axis is easily performed and noticed. The pan seems a bit weird, but that is to be sorted later. I'll include screenshots if you need more.
Thanks again and I'm really looking forward to utilizing the G lock system.
standing by...
Dave

Hey Dave, I'm sure I replied to this already but I don't see anything. I'll have another go ...
First make sure you have the latest GLock firmware and PC app as older ones may not be cross compatible, especially as changes have been made to the channel selections recently.
Next: Do you mean that you change the value and write it, but it goes back to the old value ?. For the latest software, you can set the channels for Satellite and Port#1 inputs independently and I wonder if you are using an old PC app which just has the single selection.

Thank you John. I tried to find answers elswhere in this and other forums as to not waste your time, but found no solutions.
I'm running g lock software v1.04 . the firmware is v.1.06
Everything seems to be functioning properly except for the radio tx settings. For instance, when I set the "mode" setting to channel six, (indicated by the input monitor as being active and receiving signal) the mode changes in the config window, but i have no tx control of "mode". I believe I have the "on with Spectrum" box checked. While there is some text wrapping, thanks to the scroll-over descriptions, all is readable. I posted some pics in an earlier post and could add further shots if needed. LMK
Best,
Dave
added: I'm having a heck of a time finding a source for the BLD modules. Any leads other than the dealer list? (none of which list the modules)

Hi Dave,
The 'On with Spektrum' is only needed if you actually want it to be 'Off' when using Port#1. Make sure 'On with SBUS/PPM' is not checked too because this will turn it off if you are using Spektrum. I can't think of anything else which would cause this. If it still doesn't work, PM me and I'll send you my email and you can send me your config file.
You can get the BLD's from us directly or email the dealer of your choice and ask them. We haven't pushed the release of the system too much just yet : things are a bit busy with work to replace the Radian with a new G-Lock system module (since Freefly have withdrawn the Radian with no warning to dealers). We will of course continue to fully support the Radian upgrade version.
