Greetings to all fellow airborne RC professionals from me, John Cunningham, of CARVEC Systems.
As some of you will know we have been making high-end flight control systems for many years - long before others joined in and the quality of the product has seen us survive where many of the original pioneers have gone.
Last year we collaborated with Freefly Systems to bring you the 'Radian' gimbal stabiliser - which is still one of the best servo-based systems you can buy.
Since then we have been working hard to take things to the next level and now CARVEC proudly present the G-Lock system. The G-Lock is a full 3-axis gimbal stabilisation system in a single module which can be remote-mounted under a camera tray and drive regular servos. We have taken on board many user requests for the new G-Lock - which now features great new functions like remote gain adjustment, super-smooth slew rate acceleration control, loading/saving configurations and many others.
I am particularly excited about the new brushless driver module which is under development right now. This will be available later this year and will connect to the G-Lock to give next-generation gimbal performance from a system which was designed from the ground-up to be a professional 3-axis stabiliser.
The G-Lock is compatible with existing Radian hardware and can be purchased as an upgrade.
We also present the CARVEC Signal Master module. This unit will remotely connect to the G-Lock using a special High-Speed Link (HSL) to drive the motor outputs and also manage your RC receiver inputs.
