i have not used this yet ...but can any one tell me if this will work in the SW SELECT window F MODE:GEAR =ch5 GEAR:INH L TRIM:AUX3 FLAP:INH MIX:INH R TRIM:AUX2 KNOB:AUX1
Then go to the MONITOR and u have 3 indivdual proportional remote gain channels.. IE.. AUX1 for pan ..AUX2 for roll..AUX3 for tilt. or what ever u like ..

Now i would love to more about OUT1 In the configuration RC CHANNELS box ....can anyone give me an expanded description on what happens and why in the OUT1 box throw a few ..for examples inthere CHEERS TROU
PS JOHN.C IS NOT A SPEKTRUM GUY .....I THINK US SPEKTRUM FOLK NEED A THREAD ..THERES GOT TO 20 OR 30 OF US USING G LOCK !!

lol, I thought the DX8 was the most restrictive radio I had ever owned until I got a DX6 which took it to a whole new ballpark. I suppose they are OK for camera ops (and I love the satellite receivers). Basically, watch the 'Input Channel Monitor' for the G-Lock and if you can make it move there, you can use it for the gain.
My small orange Rxs are the original DSM-1024 so I only see 7 channels and the dial is annoyingly on channel 8. However I think if you can bind a receiver as DSM2-2048 you will get the full 8.
With radios, it's usually a case of messing with everything and watching what comes out to the G-Lock until you get what you want or give up and throw it in the fire ...

up and running. with G-LOCK..stanless steel av200 with ffservos for cablecam work ..3.3 kg camera and lens. WATCH OUT FOR THE HSL servo option . make sure the servo box is enabled .IF UR USING SERVOS..its at the top in the config window I got fixated in the RC Channels box ..and was getin no where..till i went for coffee. cam back....HSL WAS ON ...SERVOS WAS OFF BUGGA .. BINGO..... SO im going fishing today ..G-LOCK tmorra cheers trou bayliss
